BC Designs Tin Roll Top Basin
Handmade using smooth copper sheets to form a beautiful classic roll top shape, handcrafted in the same manner that has been used for centuries. The Tin Basin offers a brushed satin look, perfect for traditional or contemporary bathroom interiors.
Tin is applied by smoothing melted tin over the surface of the copper using a moleskin-type cloth. Tin has been used as a surface over many years and has proved to be durable and full of character.
Each basin is unique with natural undulations and will slowly patina over time adding to the wonderful character of this timeless piece.
Copper which is the inner material, has fantastic antibacterial properties and a natural resistance to mould so it’s the perfect basin for less cleaning and enjoying for years to come.
